| It is one of two synthetic blood resistance tests offered by the Environmental Laboratory to determine a products ability to act as a barrier against blood-borne pathogens. This method is applied by comparing it with other medical face masks by splashing a fixed volume of synthetic blood directed at the center of the mask at high speed. |
